The labrys is a symbol of strength and independence for all women. Labrys Chicago is simply an extension of this same symbol. Sharing strength and independence among women all over Chicagoland. Some definitions link this symbol to only the lesbian community. Labrys Chicago is a symbol and gathering place for all women, gay, lesbian, bisexual, straight, questioning, queer, and more.

There are no barriers that can not be taken down by the strength of women coming together sharing their life experiences. Labrys Chicago helps to fight the tired ideas that have tried to tear down feminism and female strength and individuality.

Labrys Chicago spotlights everything in the community of gay, straight and bi women that is exciting, controversial, funny, political, risque', flirty, sexual, sensual, playful, fun and more.
